Hey everyone, here's an idea...

I think there is a site or platform that allows for live playing together online. I'm gonna try to research it but maybe somebody's familiar. I know I have seen videos, so it's possible. We could all learn a song and then jam it together online live. Kind of a virtual MET a V-MET! I think this could be fun and maybe a way to reach out to family and friends we can't spend time with right now. We could rehearse and then maybe have a on line concert that people could log on a see (post a video later for youtube of course).
I don't know, what do you think?

We use Zoom for family video chats as we are all on lockdown - that might work and you can record them.

My wife said zoom also, is there a lag or latency issue?

It's alright - worth a try. You'll need email addresses to invite people.

Businesses use it too for meetings.

I suggest people message you with their emails addresses if you want to set something up. You'll need to let people know the differences in time zones. It's set up like a meetings.

At the very least we can do more collabs - although my BR is on it's last legs and I can't even get it to register the drive at the moment.

Maybe try it with someone fairly local to you and see how it goes first?

It's a lifeline for our family as we can all see each other.

Interesting idea. I think you have 40 minutes max, but would be fun to live collab song create   then go back to record, etc.

I have a feeling (just a hunch) that Zoom will have some latency issues but I just found this.
