And that's what happens when you're supposed to 'work from home'  ::) ;D

Danelectro Hornet (such a good blues guitar), Fender Jazz, harmonica, vocals, Garageband drums, and my little daughter Indy (Boston Terrier...!) 'singing' at the end. She loves to sing along with the harmonica.

Mr Boneyard

Here you go again Mr Boneyard
Raining like death on my day

You're a miserable muther fucker
With a smile like the mouth
Of a grave

You aint got no sunshine
Just moaning and cursing and weeping all day

You're a miserable muther fucker
With a smile like the mouth
Of a grave

When Mr Boneyard sings
My heart seems to sink for a day

etc

Jesus that was good... raw as f**k. Just brilliant and production is spot on. Some lovely dirt / grit on those guitars

So good Tim, I howled with laughter ad Indie's vocals.
We are here on Earth to fart around. Don't let anybody tell you any different

...hey.. how can ya not like lyrics like that!
That Hornet is appropriately named! You got some serious stinging tone outta that. Liked the harp and your vocal delivery.
Mr. Boneyard rocks. Nice!

Excellent blues here Tim. Really great guitars and feel to it. The standout for me however was the bass, I absolutely loved that. It anchors the song but you use the blues format to go on some nice melodic McCartney-like runs. Sits very nicely in the mix as well  ;)

Someone or something clearly got to you, and you let it out in this blues. A fab listen.

First thought was "Everybody must get stoned!"
Then thoughts  went to a Greeny pro tune , once again.
Really great song Tim.

Lots going on here, including a nod to Rainy Day Women #12 and #35.  But the ending got the biggest smile ;)

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.

Bluestastic! Love the tone you got from the Danelectro and the imagery in the lyrics. And Indy's contributions were a hoot!

This could be a lost track from DR. Feelgood early albums; Wilko Johnson playing guitar with hypnotic look...

Brilliant blues number!
