John and I got together today, in his wonderful shed. He has so much gear and so much talent. We did all of this in the shed and on my MacBook. John played all the guitars and Bass guitar, i did some simple synths, built the drum track and wailed over the top. Not sure which guitars John used hopefully he can fill us in. Vocals were recorded using John's Neewer USB mic, which he has kindly donated to me. Cheers for that John. Mix done at Rottentowers.

It is what it is.

I don't know where I've been
I don't know where I'm going
I guess I never will
I guess I've never known
Then I saw you
Across the way
Sun shone down
You all a glow
I don't know what I want
I guess I never have
I don't know what to say
I think I'm lost for words
And there you were
Stood all alone
Lost in time
A standing stone
I don't know where I've been
I don't know where I'm going
I guess I never will
I guess I've never known
I don't know what I want
I guess I never have
I don't know what to say
I think I'm lost for words
And there you were
Stood all alone
Lost in your thoughts
A standing stone
I don't know where I've been
I don't know where I'm going
I guess I never will
I guess I've never known
Just a few more steps
Just a little more
You know we're nearly there
I'm standing at your door

This is brilliant guys, something special happens when there's more than one songcrafter in the room. Superb.

Great playing, the production is spot on, and the track is just fab.

Excellent stuff guys. Really liked the guitar/bass/drums combo, the bass in particular was very pleasing to these bass-oriented ears. Jim's synth additions help build the sonic canvas and as always the vox are great and go so well with the feel of the track. Great stuff, and even better that it was done by two Songcrafters together in person.
