A lot of material for this cover of a 1983 song by Axel Bauer (French singer, songwriter, guitarist and actor).
While researching on wiki and YT I was surprised to see that this song was covered in English by Roger Daltrey (Take me Home) singer of The Who in 1987.

Drums with Band in a Box  everything else is homemade.

- 5 guitar take (telecaster HB copy  and Epiphone Les Paul )
- Basse Precision HB copy
- M Audio Keystation with sound font Merlin

in the intro the pedal (note held) is produced with a violin bow on the lower E string (see Jimmy page  https://www.youtube.com/watch? v=AIHabvURnpk )

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

I've not heard this song before but your version has a bit of psychedelia in it, which I like. The bowed E string works real good for the sustaining note and all the little extra guitar parts add a lot to the mix. Well done JP!

I like the particular atmosphere of this song here are the lyrics in french and the original "live" version by Axel Bauer which is worth to be known

This is a bit different from you JP but I really like it. The intro is excellent you create a nice brooding atmosphere with the backing and all the angular guitar parts. It's very well put together and was a great listen, I would enjoy hearing more like this from you.

thank you Nigel

...OK I'm in the process of making an incredible song by a great French songwriter and composer who's little known abroad, I suppose: Gerard Manset, and the song's called "camion bâché" (covered truck).
it's a pretty long song, 255 bars! (more than 7mn) and it's very "cinematographic" as a song.

Oooh - I missed this the first time around. Not a song I've heard before, but I do love the bowed electric guitar and the other spikey guitar bits. Reminds me of The Creation! Great performance all around.

Nice one, JP.
