This sounds good Ian. I like that lively snare sound, the bass groove and you sing this well!

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

I love the sound of Nick Lowe (and breaking glass.... ;-) ). Great cover here, full of energy with a nice raw, sharp sound. Simple mix but very effective, love the razor sharp guitars and the drum sound is excellent, really gets the song off to a great start.

Well done, this took me back to my youth (and maybe yours as well...). Although I loved his music, I always remember him as the producer of the first Damned album, which is one of my all time favourites.

Thanks guys,

While I take credit for arranging the drums, I certainly did not play them. I used EZ Drummer for the drum track and I applied a Soundtoys Devil Loc effect over it. It makes the snare very aggressive.

I got the effect over the Summer when it was on special for something like $10. I quite liked the sound when I heard it.

This was really no more than a demo/guide recording but I have moved on to something else, so I decided to finish it where it was.

Cheers,

Ian
