Clapton's Unplugged 1992 is one of my favourite LPs, in 1992 the Web was just at the beginning, and there was still no You tube and all those great song tutos...
As things evolved in 1992, there was still almost nothing as documents ! you had to do everything "by ear"...
So I had bought the book Clapton Unplugged complete score
(with the range reading of all instruments! )

so I've already covered San Francisco Bay, Old Love, Nobody Knows You When You Down and Out, Running on Face, Layla on SC

- 3 track guitars (Martin 000 and nylon guitar custom Alan Torre Garcia)
- Bongo and tambourine
- Bass line with Kala Uke Bass
- Organ with Keystation M Audio and soundfont Merlin
- female choir by recording my voice with "Oohs" and transposing upwards with Melodyne, it works quite well!

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Farrell Jackson

Well done JP! I've always liked the unplugged version of this E.C. song and you've done an excellent rendition of it.

Jean Pierre

thank you Farrell

I had bought at the time (1992) the COMPLETE SCORE of umplugged with the survey of ALL the instruments ...What a job!
At the same time I bought the COMPLETE SCORE by Beattles (203 songs in orchestral recording with all the instruments voice, guitar but also drums, percussions like bongo, string sheet, brass keyboard and thong! incredible work, a little expensive but at the time there was nothing on the web!

Nice work JP, you certainly work well as a female choir..... ;) Can't beat a bit of Clapton, and I too remember the days before the internet and everything being worked out for you!

Jean Pierre

Thank you Ferryman
Quoteyou certainly work well as a female choir..... ;)
:D :D :D but all credit goes to Melodyne who is an incredible (cheating?) tool.

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

Jean Pierre

Thank you Tim...when are we doing a piece together? ;)
