This started out as a festival submission, however, the words are not about the future, or maybe they are, but I guess that they're more about the present and recent past, so not a futurefest thing at all.

Drums, Bass, guitars and singing - yeah actual vocal work, in a single session with beer towards the later stages - me.

It means nothing and it means everything.

Abstract
Take From
Remove
Deny

These are things that make me rage
Make my blood boil, my blood boil

What of the darkness?
I grew like my brother,
I look like my brother
We don't think the same

And, when with envy, time transported
To take away, that is enough.

(Ever of thee I'm fondly dreaming)

The Banjos rattled and the tambourines
Jingle - Jangle in the hands of Queens

With Charity for no one and malice for all
Might is Right and Right is not right
What is my task?
What is my Undertaking?
What am I to do?

When the itch of action comes across a man
there's no wall or cage to contain him
he will do what he can to scratch and to scour
the Madness eating at his soul.

Beware
Beware.
We are here on Earth to fart around. Don't let anybody tell you any different
- Kurt Vonnegut.

QuoteIt means nothing and it means everything.

The same is said of Jerusalem and life in general. Powerful lyrics and music. Matches my mood this morning. Sangry [sad n angry w the stupid shit hurting my country and my dear friends]. Time to wrestle [again] w my attachments to impermanence.

Very well done, and said, Flash.

Thanks for listening!

Loving this one. It's a really powerful and punchy track. The things I like the most are the dynamics and clarity of production. It's a relatively uncomplicated song but the dynamics really create tension - the rhythm guitars are really powerful but then you strip it back to basics to let the vocals really shine through. There are some nice subtle touches with the guitar that add aural interest and it's anchored by a very effective bass line. The vocals really work well and you get real power and emotion in them.

Excellent work Mike, well done. Going back for another listen right now....

Those rhythm guitars grabbed me right by the throat. :)

Love the punk/post-punk feel of this one. Excellent lyrics, and your vocals match the power very nicely.

Well done, Mike!

Brilliant use of dynamics - and beer.  Beer often helps, I find. Heartfelt vocals and passionate delivery.

Enjoyed this.
