Merci Bluesberry...j'ai adoré cette chanson... the very special atmosphere...and then I knew Berlin at a time (1970) when there was still the wall...I was (unfortunately and in spite of myself) in military service in Germany

and when I heard that Lou Reed had sung this song at the Bataclan in Paris it definitely convinced me

thank you guys, I'm not a Lou Reed fan but I like this song for the orchestration as well as for the theme of the lyrics...and because I had the chance to know Berlin before the destruction of the wall...East Berlin was impressive once you passed the checkpoint Charlie, the contrast between the western civilization (West Berlin) and the eastern one (East Berlin)

I think I missed this first time around, and am glad I caught it this time. I'm not actually familiar with the song.  But your singing is especially good on this one, and the guitar playing great as usual.  The song also benefits here I think from your French accent. That and the strings makes it sound "sophisticated"
