One for the NaturalDisasterfest, I recorded the music for this in GarageBand on my MacBook using my Akai MPK mini usb keyboard, transferred a mix to my BR800 and recorded a vocal using my MicroBR as a stereo mic.

It is what it is.
Temperatures rising
Icecaps melting
Coastal erosion
Cities underwater
Deforestation
Running out of oxygen
Flash flood lightning
Flash fire warnings
Mass extinction
A time of reckoning
Too little too late
Is this the end
Suffer little children
Inheritors of nothing

Sounds really big! Fine ambient vibe...

Congrats for the new gear and it's nice to hear that your trusty old MBR has still a little part (as a mic) on this.

Lovely, really like the drums on this and you have created the atmosphere perfectly to set against those lyrics. The pain and fear are palpable in this track, as they should be.

I like the feeling/atmosphere in the music. The blips and glitches are a cool touch. It seems to me to be a sonic equivalent of nature not working the way it should.

Catching up a bit here, this is really nice work Jim. I agree with Kenny that it could be from a Gabriel album. Really good atmosphere here, very nice use of the synth sounds and it's really well put together. It all sounds crisp and clear and very well balanced with some really good vox on top as always. The Mac is working well for you as a creative tool it would appear....
