I sent a noodle to Kenny, who chopped it up, added some guitar, vocals and harmonies and sent it back.

The thing I like particularly about collaboration is where the others take your idea, I didn't have this in mind at all. But Kenny is a genius and I had every faith in him doing something magic. I'm not disappointed.

I did notice though that the mix I had done on the original MP3 I'd sent no longer sat right in the new version, some stuff got lost, things that I thought had sounded OK now didn't. Kenny sent his WAVs over and I spent an evening trying to work out how he had chopped up the original MP3 I'd sent as a guide.

Now with a new bass line and new kick drum - using a technique I'd not previously used of creating a midi file from a gate in Reaper and getting that to drive the Roland drum brain. I'm rather pleased with the accuracy of the timing.

The Wonder of it All:
Words, vocals, melody, guitar by Kenny Mac, a bit of synth programming by me.

Cover me in your deep embrace
Wrap me up in your fallen grace .
Colour up my dark surrender
In abstract love   so dark and  tender

Mark my heart with your broken dreams

Test my mind with your confusion
Fill my time with your illusion
pull me up
pull me up to
New heights
New Hope's
New dreams
The wonder of it all

Scatter me in a thousand  parts
Pull me back when the heartache  starts
Play your images ,complete me
Open up the ropes and free me

Wake me up to a brand new world.

Capture what you want inside me
Deep in there  is where you'll find me
Locked away
Just Pull me up to

New heights
New Hope's
New dreams
The wonder of it all

Capture all your dreams and visions
Characters and contradictions.
Fill the void climb on to

New heights
New Hope's
New dreams
The wonder of it all
We are here on Earth to fart around. Don't let anybody tell you any different

Excellent track gents! This has very original vibe of 80's synth pop era - this would have been a hit at that time.

Sounds great via phones! I like it!

A very good collab gents. Nice synths and a really tight bass/drum foundation (that technique clearly worked) coupled with superb vox from Kenny. I really like the lyrics, some great lines there. The fuzz guitar (I presume that's what it is) is a nice touch, almost sounds like a synth.

Really well put together and well produced. Well done guys, keep 'em coming!

This is a fine collab. Flash Harry and Kenny....the production on this is fantastic! Great vocals, guitar and words Kenny. And Flash, the process you used for the drums and bass works perfectly. I enjoyed listening to this a lot.

Mike created an excellent track, those synths jumped right out.
On collabs your mind will either click right away or you will have to work at it.
This clicked right away, I just had to shuffle the order to the way I heard it in my head.
Mike then took on the task of making it seamless and man did he
Do a 1st class job,he is an easy songcrafter to work with.
Lole Mike says ,songs take a completely different direction on collabs.thats why I love them.
Thanks Mike it was a pleasure, get your writing head on and send me more????

Great work guys... those synths do give it an ethereal feel... I definitely can feel a bit of that eighties vibe in there, but it does sound so original. Also like those guitar atmospherics, and vocals are very cool. Very creative gents.
