This had a strange birth.
Mike had posted a song with sections of this song in it.
I heard another song in there and asked permission to dabble.
It turned out pretty cool and I thank Mike for letting me loose on it.
I added guitars and piano and strings,wrote the lyrics and put the vocals down.
Mike had put an excellent bass groove  and keyboard section on it as well.
I changed the drums and this came out .

Brilliant, this is really good. Love the bass groove and the way you have a relatively sparse instrumentation that lets the individual parts shine through. There's some really nice subtle parts going on that create interesting textures for the track. The vocals are excellent, really nicely sung and recorded and it makes for a really compelling and enjoyable listen.

My only tweak would be to pull the drums back a bit, I did find they dominated a little and overpowered the bass a bit once everything else comes in. But I am listening on studio monitors so maybe they are influencing what I am hearing. Still a fantastic listen though, well done both of you.

Great tune chaps. SO glad I heard this, nearly missed it as it's almost dropped off the latest songs radar. That contrast between verse and chorus is beautiful. Bassline is brilliant, really sets a mood.

All in all this is great.
