A cover song by Dave Mason from his "Alone Together" album circa 1970. I've not done many cover songs but I've always liked this song so decided to update a previous cover of it. 1 track lead guitar 1967 Telecaster with Bassman amp mic'ed with SM57. 1 track 1979 Takamine acoustic mic'ed with Rode NT1A. I track Vox Violin Bass direct. 2 tracks lead vocals. 2 tracks harmony vocals. 2 stereo tracks Zoom drums. 1 track maracas. So 10 tracks total. Mastered with LANDR

This is awesome Farrell. It just rolls along so well. Your voice is bang on for this one... singing right in the zone. Great guitar sounds and I have to admit to a little jealousy to your 67' Tele! :)

Superb! Never heard the original although I was a Traffic fan back in the day. Beautifully played and produced, great guitar sounds. The vox are the standout parts for me, I love the way you handled the high parts. All round an excellent song.

really excellent! voçies, guitars ( I like specially the guitar strumming sound, what is this?)
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Thanks JP! The strumming guitar is a 1979 Takamine acoustic guitar tuned to an open E chord.

I have caught Dave a couple times locally and was admittedly surprised by how great the shows were (considering his age). This is bloody great. Vocals are a standout for me and that solo (and solo tone) are stand-outs for me.

Well done.

Haven't heard this song in ages. What a great cover, Farrell! Excellent groove and spot-on vocals n harmonies. Love the open tuned Tak for rhythm. Sweet guitar break and outro. Thanks for bringing this one back into my mind.

Tim, that's so cool about your cousin. A talented musical family!

Thanks for listening!
