Hi all, something a bit darker for a change. Hope you enjoy?       Willie

Johnny was a righteous man
He knew his right from wrong
He was raised in the mid west
And just loved those gospel songs

But he walked in those dangerous streets
He was all alone
Where heaven and hell must meet
Just trying to atone

She was a pretty girl
Johnny couldn't take his eyes off her
Then one night he crept into her room
And took her while she cried.

Now he walks those dangerous streets
He was all alone
Where heaven and hell must meet
He was trying to atone

Instrumental

Now he walks those dangerous streets
He was all alone
Where heaven and hell must meet
Trying to atone

One dark night she took her life
She couldn't stand the shame
And Johnny read it in the papers
He never was the same

And now he walks those dangerous streets
Just trying to atone

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

Dark story and strange atmosphere but very well written and set to music
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Wow..an unusual topic to cover but the song really tells a story. Great production..loved the police sirens ..really helped to create a picture in my mind of Johnny wandering the streets at night, ridden with guilt and fear !

A bit different Willie and it really works! Love the lyrics and the concept, the music really fits very well. The song is very well structured, I liked the police siren in the middle and as usual the vocal harmonies are great. Instrumentation is smooth and well thought out as always, I liked the strings/keys I thought I could hear in there.

This is an excellent song and a great listen. Well done.
