I have a song I need to clear off the center vocals to use as a soundtrack but it really doesnt do a good job of this and I cant figure out how to save it and send it back to PC to burn it to a disc. Do you know of any software that will do a good job of this or am I wasting my time? It will be expensive to go to a studio to have song recorded but it may be my only option as it needs to be professional quality.
Thanks for any suggestions.

You can take a shot at this in Audacity, although your chances of success depend on the actual vocal mix of your song.

From your post it's not clear if you have the song originally recorded on separate trax on the MBR or is it because it's an imported mp3 you're trying to use the MBR to cut the vox on?
