I called this arrangement What a Strange Stranger, I think it goes well with the atmosphere of this song

In fact it is an arrangement based on an arrangement by John Scoffield on the harmonies of Wayfaring Stranger (very well known traditional song, which I also covered HERE in cover song: https://songcrafters.org/forum/index.php?topic=28628.0

...but John Scoffield's song no longer has much in common with Wayfaring Stranger's traditional singing except that it is a blues in minor mode
...and my arrangement no longer has much in common with either one of them, nor with the other.

I used the harmonic grid from John Scoffield's  and adaptation of Band in a Box (the drums, the pianos are from BIAB)

the electric guitars (3 take ) and the bass are from me

I've treated the sound of guitars a lot with Guitar Rig 5

Good listening

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

I have to go along with one or two of the guys... I don't smoke but damn I think this would go well with a cigar for sure and a nice high quality neat whiskey. Great piece JP.
