I like this song, because it is the only pop song I know of that has the word "Science" in it :)

This was recorded as three tracks using a Zoom R24: I played a Piano patch live on my Casio CT-X3000 Keyboard and at the appropriate point simultaneously played a bass patch with my left hand and sung a scratch vocal.  At the appropriate moment I hit a button on the Casio to trigger one of its built in drum loops.  Then I recorded the guitar track using a Fender Mustang electric guitar.  Then I replaced the scratch vocal recorded while playing with an improved vocal (recorded with an Onyx BlackJack USB interface using Reaper). During mixing, I applied an acoustic guitar plugin then copied the track and, for the end part, faded the acoustic track and applied a "crunch electric guitar" plugin to the copy.  Mixed/mastered in Reaper using Waves plugins.

Wow! You were brave to attempt this...

And you did a fantastic job. Very honest, nicely recorded and produced. Well done. It's a modern classic, you did it justice.

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Nice work here. You made the production sound quite simple in terms of the instrumentation  but it has a really lush and "big" feel to it, so very well done.
