Recording tips for the BR600 (and/or other Boss recorders)?

Thanks for the advise and the link. I really appreciate it.

Last night I discovered the cursor down button turns the display into a graphical display of levels. This has taken alot of the mystery out of the levels thing. Thanks for the advise about not recording too loud, otherwise I might've aimed to record everything as close as possible to 0db.
