Another for Woodstock!

I actually knew very little about the original Woodstock festival I now realise. A lot of the artists I had never even heard of. One of the things I have a lot of respect for of live music back then was the spontaneity of it. A lot of the bands didn't over rehearse and were quite happy to detour from the original track a bit when playing live, jamming a bit or playing things a bit differently as they felt it on the day.

This one from John B Sebastian's Woodstock set...

1 rhythm guitar
1 lead guitar*
vocals
drums done in GarageBand

vocals and rhythm guitar done together, slide put on at the end. Not a slide player so that took a while with a few edits, etc

*Edit* original crap slide guitar removed and replace with normal lead fills

(doing this one for some reason I thought of FenderBender/Tommy who is sadly no longer with us. I just felt this might have been a good one to have heard him do with that wonderful voice and guitar of his).

Nicely done Mike. I enjoyed the listen and the slide addition sounds good. Well done!

Superbe Mike

how do you make the adjustment to have this very fine delay with only one rather weak repetition?
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

I'm not at all familiar with this song, which as far as I'm concerned makes this the original..

Really nicely done.

I think the same thing : a song that would have stuck to Tommy's voice and guitar (fenderbender), which we miss a lot

I had missed this one , Mike - and the original for that matter.  I guess I will never hear the slide geetar breaks either but I really enjoyed hearing this.  Happy upbeat blues.
