Going back and looking over posts that have been made since I joined the site, I found that though I've listened to this song a number of times (I like spooky ), I've never commented.  (Again, I know it's not required but when something moves me I like to let the songwriter know...)

I really do second and third what other commenters have pointed out:

ESPECIALLY the lyrics (as I'm a lyrics-kinda guy).

My one drawback, (and it's more than likely my laptop and phone [my phone glitches up on ALL the songs...  It's an iphone and I guess it has problems meshing with the sound output system here {if it's not a tech product of Apple...}] ), is I'm having trouble hearing some of the vocals.  I missed a word or words on the third line of the second verse:  (I hope I'm not overstepping boundaries by printing out your lyrics...)

I love the line '...Has it got the better of you yet?', but I think it would be even more impactive if I fully understood the line before it.. 

Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed the song:  That the experiences of just living life are going to leave little ghosts that could have lingering effects on our lives, is a haunting ( ) thought.  Thank you for posting.

Nice one,kinda reminds me of the style of Blue Nile a Scottish band.
Very mellow laid back vibe with crystal clear jangling chords given it that icing on the cake.
