Wow, this is great. That lead work really doesn't sound like a uke at all, very cleverly done.  The song's got a lovely feel to it, I really like the rhythm/backing uke lines and the changes through the song. Very nice vox as well, and the whole recording hangs together very well.

Just realized that though I've listened to this song a number of times, I've never commented..  (Not that there's any requirement, I just like you to know I'm there with you [as much as I can be] and truly amazed at how even through times of personal turmoil you're able to produce the quality music you do.)

Production is spot on, and as usual I'm impressed and continually amazed at the quality that small little, teeny tiny, itsy bitsy, eensy weensy hand held recorder of yours can crank out!!  ...And the way you can get that uke to sound like a Fender Strat...   

Lyrically heart breaking [as I've said of your other recent songs], but never vindictive.  I'm hoping that these songs ARE working as cathartic releases for you and bringing you at least a bit of comfort...
