The keys add a real nice feel to this.  This is a Greeny masterpiece, subtle, restrained, wild, dreamy, melodic, lyrical, intense, stunning, beautiful, simple, deep, playfull, light, dark.  How do you pack so much into one song?  I really like this one.

Yes... not as much recently as I would have liked though. I'm at my best live, I think - it just feels right. And I write a lot of songs (including this one) with the specific aim of being able to perform them stripped down. I've dropped off the circuit a bit recently, but used to do a lot of open mics and acoustic stage events. I did Weyfest a couple of years ago - my, how that one's grown. They've got Jethro Tull there this year! Hoping to do some more soon though - and record it on the BR! Will hopefully do another local radio slot before long as well. The last one was fun.

Thanks for the kind words!

Yup, another belter. The keys really do add a different angle to this and you have some real nice dynamics going on with the drums as well. The lyrics are really powerful as usual, I really don't know how you do that. Great collab between you and Flash.

Cheers,

Hey, I just plinked away at a bass line, it's sheer coincidence that the notes I played happened to sort of fit. This is Tim's work.
