That's kinda hard to say. I "started" 25 years ago. But I went 2-3 years every now and then with ever touching a guitar. I only just picked it back up and actually got serious about wanting to play about 3 years ago. Now I play about 3 hours a night.

Sorry.. rambling I guess  ;)

This proves you don't need drums etc. What a great classical sound.  Very beautiful indeed.
