I am so proud and pleased to post this submission for ressurection fest !

Sem Montanhols is an old rebel song Jean Sebastien Steelguitar all ready released a few years ago, with a brilliant translation from occitan language to french. An awsome cover, you surely remember, it's here : https://songcrafters.org/forum/index.php?topic=20483.msg251771#msg251771

But now, here's a new cover by the Mauss, with english lyrics, JS playing rythm guitar and solo, I'm picking the bass and singing

Please fell free to comment dear songcrafter friends !

Great song Daniel and JS - missed the 2014 version in French but listened to that too. Love the guitar tone on your solo Daniel - what guitar is it ?
My first holiday in France was in Languedoc many years ago - must go there again some time !

Pete, Thank you for your comment !

The guitar is a Fender Stratocaster through a JHS Bonsai (simulating a Tube Screamer) and through a Tech 21 Character Blonde pedal (simulating a Fender amplifier).
Pleased to know you was in languedoc country !

Yes!..., but what a good one!

It's good to hear from you, guys from southeast France.

I also missed the 2014 version, in French, great, thanks guys
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

I missed the first version, too. Had a listen to both - although the first sounds very good, this version sounds more direct, and with a better balance of instruments and vocal.

Nicely resurrected, gents!
