Nicely done, Mike - I like how you added your own stamp to the old classic. The acoustic guitar sounds great - you should record with it more!

Well done Mike!
...you did it well; and it's true that it's difficult to make an acoustic guitar work well with an external microphone, (especially when often like us, we don't have high-end microphones

I also like the 2 electric guitar takes, and the adaptation of the vocals is very good ( Neil Young's voice with its rather high pitch is not easy...)

one of these days, I'd like to do a song with you.

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Great cover Mike - I've been playing about with this song myself recently but you beat me to it ! I don't know many Neil Young songs but I do remember this from when I was about 11 and have always liked the song "and now I'm getting old".

Enjoyed your arrangement with the electrics and acoustic and the way you replaced the harmonica sections with guitar - great job !

Thank you for listening guys... Pete... PLEASE post your version of Heart of Gold too. As far as I know there can be as many versions of a cover as members that want to cover it (unless I am wrong!) It would be great to hear it... I did try to get down one or two other Neil Young songs too but had to give up on them because as JP was saying the vocals were difficult with the high pitch and I have zero range!
