when I make a cover I always search on SC for previously published versions... I like it
...for Wayfaring stranger I found two excellent versions :

-the one of our late friend Tommy  (what a voice)
-the second by Hilary's (a capella) (what a voice)

I think of them and dedicate this version to them

What a great version. Love that Delta slide on the intro, but it's the banjo that adds the magic for me. Love that sound. Some fantastic and versatile musicianship - you're the king of strings!

I play this song with my step sons on piano and guitars - it's a beautiful one to lose yourself in.
