So pleased to do this one on so many levels, not least of all Pete sent me a blistering backer and I blooming love Kirsty MacColl.

Tommy contacted me ages ago and asked me if we could do this one together and sadly it was never to be so I'm delighted to be able to do this with Pete, I hope you're listening Tommy!

A few challenges for me. I don't have anywhere to record atm so I was sat on the bed with the BR propped up with pillows and a duvet cover over my head - now there's a recording studio. Also, I haven't the foggiest how to mix my voice with a track like this.

Anyway, here's me and Pete doing a song with one of the best choruses that was ever written.

Thanks to Hilary for suggesting this song !  I'm sure Tommy could have given this a true Country feel - he was a master of Country guitar licks. Anyway, I did my best with some Telecaster twang !

makes me think Hilary you would sing "Me and Bobby McGhee" very well.... has a similar vibe to it...
