So good to finally be able to post another Kite song.

As usual Tim came up with the chords and first fab guitarwork. James did his thing with his words. Mike added the bass that glued it together. I added some more guitars and some subtle synth and Jarle completed it all with his banging on the drums.

Hope you enjoy it half as much as I enjoyed being a part of this.

cheers
it takes 23 seconds to get here from there
23 seconds to hold your breath
it takes a few minutes to do your stuff
I hope a few minutes will be enough
if everybody's happy we can call it a day
if no one's happy we'll just start again
everybody's happy cos their occupied
everybody's happy cos we're happy guys
is everybody happy
it's taken 100 seconds to get this far
and at least another 100 to get to the end
just a few more minutes of time to fill
just a few more minutes of time to kill
if everybody's happy we can call it a day
if no one's happy we'll just start again
everybody's happy cos their occupied
everybody's happy cos we're happy guys
is everybody happy
if everybody's happy we can call it a day
but if no one's happy we'll just start again
but everyone's happy cos their occupied
everyone's happy cos we're happy guys
is everybody happy
it takes three minutes to get here from there
three long minutes to hold your breath
a few short minutes to do your stuff
a few short minutes should be enough
just a few more minutes of time to fill
just a few more minutes of time to kill
if everybody's happy we can call it a day
but if no one's happy we'll just start again

My toe is tapping on the floor - cool groove and so catchy tune. Nice mix of psych/brit pop!

Brilliant job JK! (When I saw JK logo and the song has been posted by Geir, I was sure this is 'bump', but I was happily wrong ;D ) More, please!

I'm also really happy to hear this one. This has real echoes of early JK work but feels a bit more "complete" as the band has the Norwegian additions from the early days. It's a really catchy song with a great groove, the live drums really complement the feel of the song. Everything hangs together really well, it's very impressive how coherent this all feels given so many different participants in the whole track. I like Geir's guitar additions which don't overpower the rhythm work but add more subtle layers to the song. The parts on the chorus work really well.

Mike's bass work is really nice, just about audible enough for me, so you don't get my usual comment. And it's great to hear Jim if full voice with Kite again. The final production is great as well, who did that? Mike? It sounds well balanced and hangs together really well.

Great to hear you all in fine form. The magic is still there, very well done.
