WHAT ????????

Yes went way back to find this cover. And the reason is that we lost our father recently. This is one of the songs he loved and also sang with passion in the car in our childhood. We performed it for the guests at the reception after the funeral last week and thought it appropriate to make a recording of it and share it with you guys.

Rest in peace dad!

Recorded at the cabin on the BR800.

My condolences on the loss of your dad.

I really enjoyed this. To hear your deep, strong voice singing a classic country song reminds me of Fenderbender. Very well sung and played. And a fitting tribute to your dad.

I know this song well too, my dad used to play Jim Reeves and I couldn't bear to listen, but my dad gave me his love of music.

I can listen to this now and appreciate that it's representative of times that have passed, sadly like the people for who this was contemporaneous with a significant period of their lives.

It has brought a lump to my throat, remembering my dad, understanding the pain your dad's passing has caused you.

Love to you, Jarle and to your wider family, Geir.

Thanks for the song. Delivered beautifully.

Wow, that takes me back, thankfully I've still got my parents who are in there late seventies.
This song takes me back to the seventies on a Saturday night when I was allowed to stay up a little later than my brothers and sisters, great memories.
I'm so sorry you,ve lost your father, it must have been a great tribute for and you brother to perform this song in his honor, big respect, loved it!!
