I wrote this carol last year but after a couple of goes at writing a tune, I left it as I wasn't happy with either attempt. Looking at it again this year I thought a traditional tune - Dives & Lazarus (known by some as Star of County Down) would work so I tried it and it did. At least I think it does.

I love the traditional feel in your vocal performance. It suits the lyric and the music very well.

Really enjoyed the folk ballad style in the baritone ukulele & your vocal - they complement the lyrics so well.

Love your voice and vocal performance here. The lyrics work really well with the music, sometimes the tunes don't have to be written to be a carol (Hark the herald angels springs to mind...). Great performance and very nicely recorded.
