When I see a post from you, I always get a great composition, well sung and played.
This is no exception, you never let us down man!
My congrats on this one.

This was great!! The keys added a little something to the tune.

The vox and acoustic went together well.... Hell, I liked the song!! Excellent tune!!

I'm with James on this one. True, I haven't been here that long but I've dug in the archives and listened to most of your posts here now and this one is a major candidate for the lead position (of the "softer" ones at least, you have some monster rockers too).

Great work

Great job, Mr. Green!  Those strings sound way better than the crap on my keyboard!!

The strings give it a great sound and they definitely add something to the song. You should use more strings in your songs.

Agree with eveyone else. This is a very well constructed song that has real depth and really is one of your strongest to date. The simplicity of the production enhances the power of the song and the way you deliver it.

You are the new Roy Harper in my book.

Cheers,

Nigel

There's more coming! This was played on a Yamaha full-size electric piano (my gf's) in 'strings' mode. It really has a good swell in the notes for a fairly realistic orchestral feel. Well, as close as I've ever got before.

p.s. I was listening to 'Way to Blue' by Nick Drake, which pretty much gave me the final push to try and nail the sounds I've had in my head for 25 years...

Now this is going to be interesting, I thought we already were hearing the sounds from your head,  you mean there is more in there we haven't heard, and it is bursting to come out!  This is going to get very interesting indeed.  Go Greeny Go.
