As a vocalist, I know good harmonies when I hear them.  It's not just the notes.  It's the blend.  Every voice complementing each of the other voices.  That's the real trick.  You guys listened to each other and blended.  That's what makes this piece beautiful.

I'm glad you included the back story of former bandmates coming over. That must have been a fun night. They say that absence makes the heart grow fonder. Perhaps that's why my current drummer and I almost strangled each other last week. That may be hyperbole.

I have always have dug the Everly Brothers, but I've never actively listened. I need to do that. Really lovely harmonies. The fun comes through.
