This is the 6th song Lorne and I have completed for an album in the works. Credits: Lorne - all music. Farrell - all vocals/lyric and the addition of a short guitar synth solo just before the Lorne's main solo. This is the first outing with my new Pigtronix Mother-ship guitar synth pedal.
Growing Rage

1. Woke up head hurting... from solving the world's problems    Prgm #73
One drink led to another... as I struggled with the goblins
It seems discussions... just led to more questions
About promised change... and talk of succession

2. One thought after another...came to the forefront
About truth and transparency.... dulled by the hunt
A fading vision... as the masters pull the strings
Of empty words... to make the masses dream

3. The dark forces prepare... to take a province
An ugly means of will... of will to convince
Just give up that treasure... beneath your golden sands
Or it'll be taken anyway...any way it can

4. With growing rage... on the front page
Shoved in our faces... chipping away the traces
Of moral humanity... replacing sanity
With growing rage...................

5. There's no real change... just the blame game
As chaos climbs upon... upon the world stage
Another bad story... told over and over again
Nothing has changed... the world has gone insane

6. (repeat #2) Empty words... to make the masses dream

(solo break 2x)

7. It's just more of... the same old same old
Another broken promise... left out in the cold
More lives are lost... on the road to collapse
A turn of fate... that brings the last gasp

8. (repeat #2) Empty words... to make the masses dream

About the growing rage... setting the stage........

Another gem, guys!! Lorne has done amazing job with the backer and your vocals is icing on the cake!

I got a strong Rush vibe, that's just a good thing!

Bravo!

My Idol is Jahia said
QuoteI really like the Blooby's guitars

and I said I really like the Farrell's guitars

impressionnant travail de voix et de guitars,

there is definitely good music from California to Florida
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Thank you my idol is Jahia! I can only take partial credit for the guitars. My collab. partner, Lorne, is doing most of the guitar work. I'm doing the vocals and the short synth guitar solo..... but we both thank you!

Well done Farrell and Lorne... that was serious stuff... kicking some serious ass there. That riffing could strip paint. Really well put together and great vox Farrell.

Love the energy level in this tune.  Well written, arranged and delivered.

Out of the box tune here! Loved the synth work...gave it a very 21st century feel.
Lots of angst in the lyrics which were well delivered Farrell
Some wild drum parts in there which added to the theme of chaos and growing rage.
Good collab gents!
