"Ménilmontant" is a 1938 song written, composed and performed by Charles Trenet, a very famous French singer and poet. The song is a composition influenced by the American swing of the 1930s. Ménilmontant is a Parisian district in the 20th arrondissement. The song has been covered by many singers from the 1930s to the present day.
