I have one of those ditto loopers, found it really difficult to use, so bravo on that, great post. and i must come visit that shed. we need a shedMET.

I've got a ditto looper too, it's just the timing - you have to press the button on the actual beat you want to record and then include the beat before you stop it, but I guess if you are seeing John, he'll be able to show you.

Afraid it's my two left feet that are the problem Hilary. And trying to use looper with slippers on doesn't help either.And it's just a wee button. Am considering getting a footpedal for my br800 tho,
