John posted this here https://songcrafters.org/forum/index.php?topic=28316.0 i tried to shake the cobwebs off my vocal chords, cos not done anything for a while, so struggled to reach the notes, i wish Gnasty was around to belt it out instead of me. Thanks for letting me warble over your tune John. Hope you like it.
i hope that hope returns
we all felt so let down
our dream's been put on hold
until tomorrow
our world's turned inside out
there isn't any doubt
just take a look around
the world's turned inside out

we reached up for the stars
but fell a little short
but we can try again
perhaps tomorrow....
maybe we tried too soon
before our time had come
so pick yourself back up
here comes tomorrow....
why do the doubters doubt
will nothing change their mind
why can't they contemplate
a new tomorrow
inside out etc

I dug this one a lot. James, your voice has an almost ethereal quality to it here. Well done all the way around. That square wave tremolo that does the power chords in spots was a cool choice (if that's what it is).

Excellent instrumental track with good vocal additions Jim. I can't tell if you are "straining" or just sound like Peter Gabriel, all the same the vox sound pretty good to me, although I would have preferred them a little higher in the mix. I really like the phase effect on the guitar which creates a nice melodic focus. Great music, nice drum programming and overall very nicely put together, great track guys.

Where to begin?

Initial impression - oh listen to those guitars - this is gonna be good!

Chord progression is wonderful - great instrumentation and playing! Really catchy.

Vocals - to me are at correct levels - guitars really make the tune and the vocals help take it all the way!

Some guitar work on right channel really reminds me of Mike Stewart (Mike_S) playing!!

Wonderful - love it thanks for the download - I have added to my collection of wonderfully talent folks!
