Hi All,

I Just picked up a used Tascam dp32sd on Ebay so I'm posting my first attempt at a song on it. Thanks for listening.

well done, I like the sound of the guitar

...as I didn't know this song; a little research on Wiki told me that it was a cover of a Jackie Deshannon song performed by a Liverpol band (?) The Searcher who didn't get worldwide recognition from their colleagues in the same city and time period... but who still made a career and were performing in 2009  ( on YT https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHVTx_MgvVA)

thank you for the share
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Thanks very much for the kind comments.
I really should have given credit to the Searchers as they were the inspiration for the recording.
To us here in the states they were part of the "British Invasion" that dominated the music for a time.
Great music.

This songs does sound real familiar to me but I can't recall it exactly. Although, I do remember The Searchers. I like the jingle, jangle sound of the guitars and you did some fine vocals to this. Well done on your first recording with the Tascam DP32SD.

Great cover of a great song that I'm familiar with - very well done! I also remember hearing & digging the Searchers cover first, but Jackie DeShannon's original version is also some fantastic folk-rock/pop.
