The Italian/English comparison made me laugh.

The 'Italian' - saute them gently in butter and garlic and mix with pasta al dente
The 'English' - put them on some crisps and get some beer


I do like anchovies - the only true bit in this song is that we've got a tin in the cupboard but I'd probably just eat the crisps.

I add only that, as an average Italian, when cooking I substitute 95% of times the word "butter" with "olive oil".

Wow. Who'd of thunk that a tin of anchovies could be fodder for such a moving song and vocal performance. I really do like your vocal. And this is one of those under 60 second songs that works just perfectly as it is. Not missing anything at all.
