Quote from: Ferryman_1957 on June 07, 2009, 01:14:17 PMBTW Kody, yours is really quiet. I have the backer at level 80 and yours at 120 to get a reasonable balance. Must be that big, fat, bloated BR900 sucking the life essence out of your recording.

Just got Bus's mp3 as well. Will compile everything later tonight. Got to go and practice 48's blues lesson before I do my take.....

Bus, your mp3 won't import - I'm getting "unsupported format" message. Is it a standrad mp3 created off the MBR?

Also, you say you took the ninth slot - I don't think there is one.... We originally planned two goes round the twelve bar each and there are 16 repeats. Where did you plan your to come in?

Nigel

that's one of the down falls for being to ambitious - ekkk - kind of got carried away with this 1! my apologies. i was figuring there was some kind of way of editing the backer, mixing, extending 12 bars for each new comer. who's for a jam got me up for it! you guys have fun with it:))) i sure did:) i over played my 12 bars with excitement. mixed down to wav from the mbr - muted the backer track.. but the wave was to long. n i am working on so much material on my mbr i erased the backer n my solo. after i had the wav backed up. i put the wave into an mp3 converter to cut it down to 12 bars - hoping it would arrive to you in time in a yahoo mail. i did not try to re-import the wav back into my mrb because i knew i had no spare room at that time. i did try n once again i apologise if i have messed up the format being over keen. i still had a great time n have an awesome solo in my vaults. i'll smoke sum jazz tobacco n wait for the next 1 to groove with you guys.

OK Bus, no problem, I guarantee there will be more. I've been working on a blues backer with bass and a few horns that got pushed to the back burner because of NEILFEST and this. Watch out for me posting that, it will be a good opportunity for more jamming.

Nigel

Keep your eyes open for the next one Bus, I would love to hear what you come up with, you are a great guitar player.  There will be many more of these and other types of jams in the comming months for sure, this is a pretty active and interactive site.
