Well so far we only have 48, 0jimi, SdC and me putting up. So far, slots 1,2 and 3 are recorded (I haven't laid mine down yet). So if you go in at slot 4 that would be great. But when you are done, email me JUST your guitar track, preferenrably as a .wav but if that's too big just master an mp3 with only your guitar on it and I will import that.

If I can get all the guitar tracks individually I can then do a nice mix at the end. I'll post up "in progress" mixes as we go so you can hear what others are doing.

Cheers,

Nigel

I am hoping to get something done this week also, all this Neil Young madness has distracted me momentarily.

Great Bluesberry, do you want to take no 5?

Cheers,

Nigel

I can take #5, i am running out of time tonight, I will try to record something tomorow night.  How does the numbering work again, I start on the 9th and go to the end of the 10th loop of the repeating pattern (12 bars/loop), I dont want to mess up the timing.

Is 7 still free ?
And how do you want it? Silence up to the 7th position and then the solo or just start from ground zero and you put it where it belongs??

That sounds easier Geir, if Nigel is going to put it all together anyway, just start from ground zero.  How's that Nigel, and then a MP3 of just the guitar part e-mailed to you?

Here's what I'd prefer - just play along with the track, solo at your spot and then when you create the mp3, just master ONLY your guitar track (mute the tracks with the backer on). So there will be no backing at all on the mastered version you send to me, only your guitar track but it will be at the right spot in the overall track. I will import the mp3s of each guitar track onto a base version which will have 48's solo and the backing track. As we all used that same track as the starting point, they should all synch up nicely and I can mix everything together. That way we don't lose quality along the way. If you can extract the wav file that would be better but that's probably too much hassle, so I would be happy with mp3s.

Geir, as Kody has joined up, you take number 7 so the list should look like this:

1.48
2.Ojimi
3.SdC
4.Kody
5.Bluesberry
6.Satchwood
7.Geir
8.Ferryman

Nigel
