Yes indeed, it is a ukulele with a resonator in it. I love it immensely. I consider it a brother to the Kala Archtop Ukulele

Cuthbert- no new mics. In fact I'm moving in Novemember into a much smaller house and will be losing my studio. I just rented a storage unit for (among other things) most of my instruments and gear. I just sold my MiniNova synth and am trying to sell my TC Helicon Voive Live touch 2, monitors, Ibanez Acoustic bass, and the Roland session mixer I bought for NordicMet. Most everything elses will get boxed up in hopes of a return one day when the kids are gone. Until then its the camera bag studio-br80, a few cords, handheld mic, ukulele, travel electric guitar & u bass...and the iPad.
 Most all of my recordings have been either the built in mics on the br80, like this recording, or if I'm tracking I use my no name, $20 handheld condenser Mic...its blue.
Have been suffering from serious lack of motivation. To create for months now. Hoping that changes a little.

What a cool version. Great performance. I dug the whistling. Man, you get results with that recorder. Did you use noise reduction, or is it really that quiet?

I'm trying to still pull the electric band together, and we're trying to tackle this tune.

Hook, this is great... I love the slow intro... a really enjoyable version

don't worry about the lack of motivation, it will pass. i think it's obvious to us here at songcrafters that music is in your blood. in fact for me, when i go through a period where i have little desire to do any music it normally comes back good and strong in a wave of creativity. I think it's necessary in fact to go quiet creatively sometimes to let the next cycle incubate for a while.

Anyway I enjoyed this Hook... rock on!
