Here's a quicky I did for The Less than 60 second song Fest. It's just me and my acoustic free flowing a melody and semi lyric. It's recorded on a Zoom H2. This is usually how my songwriting begins but I'm calling it done....for now, lol.

Yes, this is right up my alley. Agree with the Zeppish comment - Wicked cool! Obviously the vocals are fabulous, and I'm loving the tone from the guitar. It sounds open and "free". I am not a fan of a plugged in acoustic, usually can spot them a mile away. So if you did plug in I would love to know what method you used. After looking up the Zoom it appears you just stand it in front of you and do your business, and I hate to sound like a dude but that is just so dope man!

Thanks all for the comments on my < 60 seconds song fest submission!

Mark : It was recorded unplugged using the Zoom H2, a Takamine acoustic guitar and my voice. The slight reverb you hear is from the room. The H2 has a couple of built in mics which you can set to capture the sound at different degrees ie. 90 or 180 etc. I usually keep it set at 180 which gives a cool stereo sound. Unfortunately you can't multi-track with it. I just set it up out front and do a couple of test takes to get some sort of balance between my guitar and voice. I use it to capture ideas when the inspiration hits.

Thanks for listening!

Oops! Goofed again, never had the time to browse and see the new festival, hence the thoughts of full production long version massive song!  :o

Anything you do Farrell, long short, full, stripped down, it's always a treat.
