why a cover of "my favorite things"?

...when there are already two beautiful covers, one from...and the other from Alfredo and Hook

..because :

- I didn't know this song (??), which became a jazz standard (realbook)
- Coltrane's version, which I also discovered, is a MONUMENT

... and also,  the melodic line intrigued me:

The first section of the melody has the distinctive property of using only the notes 1, 2, and 5 (tonic, supertonic, and dominant) of the scale
The theme had everything to please Coltrane with a certain tonal ambiguity  indeed, at its beginning, it is neither major nor minor since no median - G or G# - is played for a long time...

Beautiful...

exactly Kenny, in the video, the file sound is in .Wav so (sensibly) better..and I'm often lazy to make a real video with filmed sequences
