QuoteIn the United States, the term hobo refers to a homeless person moving from city to city, mostly hiding in freight trains, and living on seasonal manual labour and expedients. The term could be translated as "vagabond."

. The hobo later became a mythical figure in the American imagination. He is a character tinged with romanticism, in love with freedom, developing the ability to survive outside an alienating society from which he does not have to suffer the constraints. This leads some sociologists to link them to a libertarian subculture.

it's a song of Jimmie Rodgers recorded in 1929 in New Orleans

I did this cover for many reasons
1/ I discovered this song with a cover of Fret Killer on YT and I really liked it
2/ so I listened to Jimmie Rodgers' original version and also Merle Haggard's version (and really liked the dobro part of this version)
3/ I like the idea of a small quotation in Yodel (typical tyrolian sing imported by the deutch migrants in states)
4/ I absolutely wanted to do this train whistle imitation on the harmonica

here is the clip video witj the song in wave format

Hey Alex I'm very happy for your answer!

You've been away from SC for some time...I was worried.

For you (and others guys who are curious to know more about Yodeling and Hobo),  I post in general discussion a topic entitled "the cultural minute of uncle Jahia... Yodeling and hobo what is it?
