Had a riff going on for past few days but no idea what to do with it. so rustled up a drum track on thumbjam (said drum track has been sent to flash harry's new studio, he wanted something to work with and was all i had at the time) anyway played said riff on HB telecaster then spent all day trying to get something to go with it. Got out epiphone bass and kept it simple but that was difficult. then i wailed streams of thought stylee over the top of it. sounded a mess so was gonna bin it, but flash called. so i sent him the drum track. then i went back to it. plugged in my ipad and started messing with thumbjam mellotron played it like the first two lines of the song. then sang it from scratch again.

it is what it is.

Does the left hand know
What the right hand do
As the world crash down
All around you
Can you still stand tall
When you feel so low
Pick yourself back up
And dust you down
Turn the corner
Ever forward
No don't look back
No don't look back
Through the dirt and shit
Searching for a hit
You'll do anything
To scratch that itch
You would sell your soul
For a bag of dope
Cos you lost your hope

Weird - It's a really dark drum track, there's so much to do with this, so many different directions, this is really impressive, I'm trying to think what it reminds me of, but I just can't place it.

Great take on what's going on,,I realy dispare of what's opening  up globally, somehow it all seems  it's been orchestrated  to cause chaos.

You've created a very fitting musical vibe for the subject matter. And Mellotron strings always add that certain spooky element whenever they are used.

Cool, and scary...

I was thinking the same thing, was able to listen through the first page in short time and usually can't even keep up. Love the tune James!

Had heard it when you 1st posted in my facebook wall ~ was going to comment put procrastinated.  Really like the heaviness and the instrumentation ~ the "feel" of it reminds me of my song Rainy Days, which after listening to this song now pushes me to want to add a bass to it...  we need to to consider having a songcraftersPartO.org just for you  --- abrazos
