It's a beautiful old song of american guitarist singer Norman Blake in the album "The fields of November"

I did a backtrack guitar/dobro/acoustic basse  inspired by the magical Seldom Scene version (I added mandoline and banjo by BIAB)

and Tim was kind enough to sing this song for me
He did it here by changing the original melodic singing line of the song but he also has to make me a version with the original melodic line

Thank you very much TIM..and happy birthday !
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Norman Blake is one of my all time favorite guitar heroes. Master flatpicker. I love this song. You have certainly taken it in a new direction from the original but it works and makes for a nice listen. Dobro work is excellent. Well done gents...

................me too, I like Tim's voice

Tim seems very busy at the moment...but I hope he will have time to do an alternative version of the song with the original melody of the song
