I am finding it difficult to write of late, creating new songs is like drawing teeth. Anyway i managed to pull this one out eventually, took the henwrench route lyrically  :D.

It is what it is.
Like a twisted wet sock
They squeezed out all my juices
Now my battery is flat
I've been pulled through the wringer
Just hang me out to dry
In this moment of respite
For a few hours at least
I can dream I can dream

I liked it a lot! I'm sort of a fan of repeated verses, myself.  :)

The music had a cool sinister vibe to it, and somehow the whole package did remind me somewhat of our long lost Hen (c'mon back!).

I dig it.

This is nice! I like that rhythm.

Nice work Jim, love the off kilter second chord. It's a real grower and there's nothing wrong with a bit of repetition.

It is what it is - a really catchy and atmospheric piece, well done!

The chord progression and bass groove are right up my alley, love it!

Captivating rhythm and vocals. Liked the chord progression - somehow I got weird experimental Spanish vibe!?

Great stuff!

Cool stuff, been there maybe still there got a couple of things on the go which I just can't finish.
But getting back to the tune bit of dischord which really suits the vibe a really cool listen, enjoyed it lots.
