Today's experiment contains many "firsts" for me. Took a bit more time than Doobadoob, but I hope it came out pleasant sounding and good for a smile if anything.

Nice one SdC.  Nice rhythm guitar and really great lead guitar, really great sounding.  This is really full of sounds and stuff and it works.  That must have been busy with bouncing!  No doubt about it this is really cool.  Good vocals.  Good job all around.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. Sometimes it's hard to find the time with all that great music being posted here! I'm addicted to the forum almost as much as to my BR...

As per my usual, here's the recipe for this one:
Objectives: funky danceable tune with lyrics and vocal. Max. time: 6 hours.
1. T1V1 Bass (BR's basss simulator )
2. T2V! Rhythm guitar
3. T56V1 Vocoder effect on the little Casio keyboard
4. T4V1 Sat down and forced myself to write lyrics. Recorded these on the Shure sm58 mic; bad choice never again
5. T3V1 Background vox by purring Polly the cat
6. T78V1 "brass" synth
7. T78V2 Bounced mix without drums
8. T4V2 Lead guitar.
9. T3V2 Hammond. At this time I had a total collapse of inspiration. Resulting in a very sloppy part. Anyway, time to move on to:
10. T1V2 back vox left
11. T2V2 back vox right
12. T56V2 back vox middle with stereo multitap delay
13. T78V3 bounced mix without drums
14. T56V3 added a few weird souns with little Casio keyboard (mainly intro)
15. T78V4 bounced mix with drums
16. T78V5 mastering using preset "Full rock band" :)
17. uploaded here.
Objectives met: yes!
