Beautiful. Thanks very much for sharing - this really relaxed me after a really stressful day. A real pleasure to hear a beautifully played and recorded acoustic piece like this.

Cheers,

Nigel

FJ didn't I play a bass track on your cover of Pipeline. I think it was you.

Ted

Did you dream this music, or did you create it awake as you recalled the dream?

Either way, it's lovely.

Satchwood - Now that you mention it, the B part melody does mimic that Jesus Christ Superstar melody a bit. Good ear, my man! I didn't hear it myself.

Greg - Yes, you played bass on that cover of Pipeline. Almost a year ago now. I'll never forget that thunderstorm that set half the state on fire. I used the thunder in that version of Pipeline. Recorded it on my porch and then recorded the song over it. Fun. Hooper added some Rhodes-like keyboards too.

Ted - I had this song in a rough form, as I've been experimenting with this tuning lately. The dream gave it meaning, so I put it all together in the afterglow the next morning.

Greeny

What a great song. Dreamy, creamy and wonderful, lol. Good to see you back on the forum. This is real quality.

Nice to hear from you again.

What a beautiful piece.  It's everything good that came out of new age music (although there was a lot of baaaaad new age music).

My one bone of contention is the sound that comes in at about 1:10 or so.  All the other sounds are very organic, but I find that timbre a little out of place.  Just a personal observation.

Peace.

That's a valid observation, Bloob. It seemed like a good idea at the time - dreamy ice bells kind of thing. But now, it just sounds strident. I wanted something underneath the guitar to strengthen the melody, but it doesn't bury very well. Thanks for the input!
