Got the music in the mail from Kenneth this morning, titled New Day, so after plugging the mics into my br800 this came out the other end, stream of thought determined not to rhyme and with an A added to the title..

It is what it is.

Update 4th July 2018. I wasn't happy with some of the vox near the start of the song and have removed them and remixed the other vocals slightly higher in the mix, Kenneth also felt the same, i was going to replace the part with new vocals but it works without any vocals and may even create some more dynamics for when the vocals come in again.

At one with the silence
Before the dawn chorus
A world still asleep
In a moment of calm
Glistening dewdrops
Reflecting the sunrise

The birds find their voices
And sing as one
With light there comes colour
And hope warmth and beauty
And everything seems good
In our green red and blue world
So many shades
So many things to see and do

Here comes a new day

The pulse of a heartbeat
The cry of a child
The taste of your soft lips
The sheen on your skin
We both know that love makes
The world go round
All wrapped up in plastic
Let's just throw it all in the sea

Here comes a new day

Loved the acoustic start, it has a bit psychedelic vibe. On the rock part the "hit" chords sounds so good! Well written music, Ken!

Excellent job with lyric and vox by James! "Here come the new day"...simple and catchy!

I'm a fan!

I like the way it builds up from the mellow start to a full rockin' number. Some fine guitar Kenneth and a very creative way of putting the lyric together James....the mix of octave and harmony backing vocals with the lead vox works so well at bringing on the dynamics!

Thanks guys and thanks James! I love the lyrics Jim, especially the "wrapped in plastic ...into the sea" part and the way you sing it.
