I added in attachment a little bibliographical note about Patrick Werbeke
QuotePatrick Verbeke was born on April 13, 1949 in Caen in Calvados. He is a guitarist, composer, singer of French blues.
At the age of thirteen, he began playing drums in a twist orchestra.
He will soon be noticed by his talent as a musician and will accompany many American artists visiting France such as Freddie King, Memphis Slim, Freddie Finger Lee, Sonny Fisher or Vince Taylor. He recorded a lot in the studio and toured Johnny Hallyday in 1976 and 1977.
Patrick Verbeke will create many groups throughout his career "The indescribable Chaos Rampant" in 1967, "Alan Jack Civilization" in 1970, "Tribe" in 1972 and "Magnum" in 1975.
In 1981, he produced his first album "Blues in my Soul" and since then, his other records follow each other with a regular rhythm. He will tour extensively in concert halls and festivals, and will be performing for international artists such as Ray Charles, Johnny Winter and Dr. Feelgood.
He will also experience an international career with his performance in 1990 at the Beale Street Blues Festival in Memphis. Since 1998, Patrick Verbeke has been performing regularly in Louisiana and Canada.
Since 2001, he participates in the collective "Around the Blues" with among others Francis Cabrel, Jean-Jacques Goldman, Mickael Jones, Denys Lable, Luc Bertin and Chris Lancry.
He has also created since 1990, an exhibition "Ballade in the Land of Blues", on the history of Blues, as a guided tour in songs for children and adolescents. He is now devoting himself more and more to young audience shows. Since 1995, he has been offering the musical tale "Willie and Louise" to the youngest children, followed by the tale "Echos d'Acadie", which tells the adventures of a little Acadian and a little African slave.
Patrick Verbeke also wrote with Jean-Emile Néaumet in 1994, "a gentleman guitarist", the first French biography of Eric Clapton.
But the artist does not stop there, he will create in 1994, a new concept of show, between the show and the story "What I'm going to practice", with blues that he plays and diffuse live every Saturday night on Europe 1 until 1998. He will also host the show "the 5th meeting" on the 5th and will launch "Blue TV" on CanalWeb.net.
Today, Patrick Verbeke is working on the creation of an independent Blues radio.
Also producer, he will ensure the artistic direction of the label Magic Blues, a structure of production which has for vocation to defend the colors and the French blues.
Blues enthusiast, he decided to enlarge and make available to all those who wish to improve in this musical style, the blues school "Luther Allison Blues School".
His latest album released in 2007 is entitled "Bluesographie", it is a musical biography of Patrick Verbeke where he returns the highlights of his career.

Les p'tites galères nécessaires me font marrer
Onze heure du soir, j'me sert à boire
La fille d'en face me rejoint et m'embrasse
Jonh Lee Hooker à la radio
J'sais pas c'qui s'passe,
Y commence a faire trèschaud
De quoi j'vais m'plaindre
De quoi j'vais m'plaindre aujourd'hui

Eight o'clock in the morning, in my apartment
The sun beats, I open an eye and I mate
The girl  on the opposite side, who is moving
Make up, get dressed and smile at me
What am I going to do with
What am I going to do today

A real breakfast, a good breakfast
With coffee, bacon, it's a must
An air of blues on the radio
Me tickles the ears in stereo
What am I going to do with
What am I going to do today

Even if the car does not want to start
There, where I'm going; I can go on foot
All along along the day
The galley p'tites necessary make me laugh
Eleven o'clock at night, I'm drinking
The girl opposite joins me and kisses me
Jonh Lee Hooker on the radio
I do not know what's going on,
It starts to be very hot
What am I going to do with
What am I going to do today

thank you guys for listening
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Very nice indeed, well done both of you. Loving the dobro work and the overall sound is great.

You can sing the blues in France, and you might have to sing a lot more if "Les Bleus" do not perform well at the World Cup....... ;)
